Dr. Sandra Jones currently serves as the Vice President of Strategic Engagement at Colorado State University Global, where she oversees all external relations departments for the university, including marketing, enrollment, admissions, media relations, communications, and community relations. She has earned several awards for her work, including a regional Golden Hub of Innovation Award and two Awards of Excellence from the Council of Advancement and Support of Education, in addition to being honored as “Top 40 under 40” in 2012 by OC Metro magazine and receiving the University of Southern California Remarkable Woman Award in 2006. Dr. Jones currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce and is a 2022 graduate of the Denver-Metro Chamber of Commerce Leadership Denver program.

Dr. Jones graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science from UCLA; holds an M.Ed. in Postsecondary Administration from USC; and earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education Policy from UC Riverside, where she was a Chancellor’s Distinguished Fellow.
