Diana Hoadley

Diana Hoadley is Head of the Higher Education and Non-Profit Group at Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC and has over 35 years of higher education finance experience. Diana has been involved in over $70 billion of tax-exempt and taxable bond financings and public private partnerships for higher education institutions. She has provided strategic advice on capital formation, asset monetization, credit positioning, debt structures, investor relations and financing transaction execution. Her experience with higher education clients includes private institutions such as Princeton University, Harvard University, Yale University, Vanderbilt University, Washington University in St. Louis, Cornell University, New York University, Johns Hopkins University and Howard Hughes Medical Institute and public universities such as the University of Virginia, University of Washington, University of Michigan, University of Texas System, Texas A&M University System, University of Colorado, Ohio State University, University of Utah and University of Connecticut.
Diana’s resume of innovative financing structures for universities includes central banks funded with Century and variable rate bonds, pooled financing vehicles utilizing State Funding Intercepts, royalty monetization, pass through certificates, green bonds, social bonds and public-private partnerships for office building, housing and research facilities. Her work with Vanderbilt University on the $1.465 billion monetization of its trademark royalty from the Vanderbilt University Medical Center won an award for the most innovative securitization of the year in 2018.
She received an A.B. in Psychology, Certificate of Science in Human Affairs, from Princeton University and an MBA in Finance from New York University. Diana is a founding board member of Northeast Women in Public Finance.
