Jim Burkee is Executive Vice President at Concordia College New York and Professor of History. Jim, who holds a Ph.D. from Northwestern University, is an award-winning author and a 2016 Thrivent Fellow. He has published widely on the intersection of history, culture and politics in USA Today, the Los Angeles Times, and other national publications. He also served as Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer of a corporate travel company.

In his current position at Concordia College New York, he oversees College partnerships, Enrollment, and new program development. In 2017-2018, the College experienced 27% year-over-year growth, and expects similar numbers in the coming year.
