Christine Heitz is an Associate Partner in McKinsey’s Education Practice and leads the higher education strategy service line. She serves a range of educational institutions, investors, and private education companies across topics such as growth strategy, digital & online strategy, strategy execution, and market diligence.

Christine also co-leads McKinsey’s support of the Taskforce on Higher Education and Opportunity, a collective of 36 higher education organizations committed to actions promoting equity, access, and an inclusive economy for the 2.5M students those institutions represent.

Outside of McKinsey, Christine spent several years in education investing and K12. She served on the investment team of the Charter School Growth Fund, an impact investing fund, and then as the Chief Strategy Officer for KIPP Memphis Public Schools, a K-12 network then serving 2,800+ students.
