Scott Abrams is Senior Principal Counsel in the Business, Transactions, and Innovation group of UC Legal – Office of the General Counsel for the University of California System and supports major projects across the system’s 10 campuses and five academic medical enterprises.  Scott has 30 years of experience advising public, private, and higher education clients in real estate, infrastructure, development, construction, finance, ownership, operations, and management.  Scott was formerly a partner in the Real Estate and Infrastructure Practice Groups at Nossaman LLP www.nossaman.com and Senior Counsel – Western Region for the energy, water and wastewater businesses of Veolia North America www.veolia.com/en.  Scott graduated from the University of California Los Angeles (B.A. 1990) and the University of San Francisco School of Law (J.D. 1993).
