John is one of the longest-serving leaders at Wiley Education Services and brings more than 20 years of higher education experience in establishing successful partnerships and market innovations. He joined Deltak, the company’s precursor, in 2001, holding executive roles in marketing and business development, and in his current role is responsible for global market development, market strategy, and new products and services to support partners. Over the years, he has learned that to lead and contribute to a successful team, “it’s critical to be collaborative, candid, and supportive.”
His experience leading Wiley through challenges in the fast-growing higher education market landscape also provides him with valuable insights to support partners’ growth and goals. “Wiley has continuously evolved its services to help universities better meet the changing needs of their faculty and learners,” he says. “We’re proud to have stayed abreast of market trends and invest in technologies, resources, and policies that help them remain innovative and successful.”
John holds a Bachelor of Individualized Studies with emphasis in Marketing, Economics, and Psychology from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities and an MBA from Benedictine University.
