Geoffrey Eisenacher is a Vice President of Development at Gilbane Development Company, where he coordinates all phases of campus engagement, program development and partnership delivery, in addition to research and identification of strategic partnerships that will best support the company’s expansion and growth. Geoff has more than twenty-nine years of experience with public-private partnerships (P3), higher education, student housing, and campus infrastructure, including $3.5 billion in student housing development, acquisition, and operations for higher education institutions across the United States. His expertise enables Gilbane Development Company to maximize its strategic impact and business objectives and was instrumental in Eastern Michigan University’s decision to select Gilbane Development Company to lead a transformative 35-year, $200 million campus housing modernization initiative – a project for which Geoff will oversee all development, financial structuring, and ongoing operational oversight. Geoff’s knowledge and expertise of real estate development/finance, student affairs and campus housing, alongside his knowledge of the macro higher education industry, strongly support long-term fiscal sustainability and operational success for our campus partners.
Prior to joining Gilbane Development Company in 2019, Geoff led the creation of several groundbreaking P3s to design, build, renovate and manage student housing for the University System of Georgia (involving nine campuses) and Wayne State University, and led other higher education projects. Geoff is a licensed real estate broker in Texas. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and business administration from Ohio University.
