Biography

Erik Judson is the CEO and Founder of JMI Sports, which he launched in 2006 with technology entrepreneur and former Padres owner John Moores. JMI Sports is a leading media rights and venue development company based in San Diego, California. JMIS works with universities and athletic conferences to act as a property’s multimedia rights representative partner, as well as providing project management services to professional teams, universities and municipalities seeking to build or renovate major sports venues and practice facilities. 

Erik began his career by managing the design and development of Petco Park for the San Diego Padres and has since continued this passion by leading the development of a variety of facilities including Matthew Knight Arena at the University of Oregon, Rupp Arena at the University of Kentucky, Snapdragon Stadium, and he is currently consulting on the development of the new Ryan Field football stadium at Northwestern University.

Erik Judson earned a degree in Economics from the University of California, San Diego and went on to receive his Master of Business Administration from San Diego State University.
