Avnee is a Trustee and the Vice President at Shoolini University, India’s No. 1 Private University. With over 15 years of experience in education and financial services, she brings deep experience in education sector regulations, academic operations, student enrolments, student experience, and new academic set-ups.
In her current role, she leads Shoolini University’s student success efforts which include -Career Development, Student Recruitment, Student Experience and Financial Aid. As a member of Shoolini University’s academic council she also contributes to the innovation and excellence of the university’s academic programs, research initiatives, and industry partnerships. More specifically, Avnee has led the strategy and implementation for Shoolini University’s dual-degree partnership with the University of Melbourne and is currently building similar partnerships with top global universities such as University of Edinburgh, Durham University and Queen Mary University. Avnee also teaches courses in the areas of sustainability and culture.
Avnee is an alum of Miranda House, University of Delhi, and holds an MBA in Finance. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Sustainability. Previously, Avnee has worked at senior positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Marsh & McLennan, where she advised and delivered solutions for large corporate clients especially in the areas of education, risk, and India opportunities.
